Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waived the polling requirement and approveD the installation of traffic calming on First Avenue, between Broadview Avenue and Boulton Avenue,
2. Directed the City Solicitor prepare a by-law to alter sections of the roadway for the installation of three speed humps on First Avenue, between Broadview Avenue and Boulton Avenue, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on the copy of Attachment 2, dated September 2020, attached to the report (October 19, 2020) from the Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

Transportation Services has reviewed the need for traffic calming (speed humps) on First Avenue, between Broadview Avenue and Boulton Avenue. The assessment indicates the warrant criteria as set out in the City of Toronto's Traffic Calming Policy has not been satisfied. Therefore, staff do not recommend the installation of speed humps on First Avenue.

That the Toronto and East York Community Council:

2.
