City Council Decision
City Council on December 16, 17 and 18, 2020, adopted the following:
1. City Council prohibit parking from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of Eastern Avenue, between a point 20 metres west of Woodward Avenue and a point 43 metres further west.
2. City Council direct that Eastern Avenue be returned to its pre-construction traffic and parking regulations when the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant Integrated Pumping Station Construction Contract 2 Project is complete.

Summary
As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on the subject section of Eastern Avenue, City Council approval of this report is required.
Transportation Services is recommending that parking be prohibited from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the south side of Eastern Avenue, between a point 20 metres west of Woodward Avenue and a point 43 metres further west.
Construction site access for Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant Integrated Pumping Station Construction Contract 2 project is currently taking place from the south side of Eastern Avenue, west of Woodward Avenue. Concerns have been raised by Toronto Engineering and Construction staff regarding vehicles parking near this construction access impeding the construction vehicles safe access to the site. The proposed prohibition will reduce the potential for vehicles parking in the area near the construction access.
