The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Reduced the speed limit from 40 km/h to 30 km/h on Glenlake Avenue, between Keele Street and Dundas Street West.

Glenlake Avenue, between Dundas Street West and Glendonwynne Avenue, is generally a two lane roadway, with one lane in each direction and parking on one side of the roadway. This entire section of Glenlake Avenue is very similar in terms of roadway and sidewalks characteristics between Dundas Street West and Glendonwynne Avenue. The speed limit on Glenlake Avenue, between Glendonwynne Avenue and Keele Street, is 30 km/h, while between Keele Street and Dundas Street West, it is 40 km/h. In order to have a consistent speed limit and to improve the environment for all road users the speed limit on Glenlake Avenue, between Keele Street and Dundas Street West, should be reduced from 40 km/h to 30 km/h.
