Summary

The City will be resurfacing Shaw Street between Dupont and Dewson Street this year. Along with this work, the existing bikeway on Shaw Street will be renewed and upgraded to address various safety concerns that have been raised by area residents. As part of the upgrades, parking will be shifted to the west side of the street south of Essex resulting in the loss of 11 permit parking spaces on this stretch. Changes will be necessary to help alleviate the exacerbated parking pressure residents on this stretch will face when the changes are implemented this year.
