Summary
This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.
Transportation Services is recommending extending the existing corner parking prohibition on the east side of Oak Park Avenue, between Everett Crescent and a point 9 metres south, to be in effect between Everett Crescent and a point 32 metres south. This is in response to concerns received by Traffic Operations, via 311, regarding a sightline obstruction for westbound turning motorists at the intersection of Oak Park Avenue and Everett Crescent. This proposal will result in the loss of four on-street parking spaces on the east side of Oak Park Avenue, south of Everett Crescent.
