Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council: 

 

1. Rescinded the parking prohibition in effect from the first to the 15th day of each month from April 1 to November 30, inclusive, on the south side of Riverdale Avenue, between a point 30 metres east of Pape Avenue and a point 14 metres further east.

 

2. Prohibited stopping at all times on the south side of Riverdale Avenue, between a point 30 metres east of Pape Avenue and a point 14 metres further east.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.

 

Transportation Services is recommending that stopping be prohibited on the south side of Riverdale Avenue, between a point 30 metres east of Pape Avenue and a point 14 metres further east.  This recommendation is to ensure clear sightlines for motorists exiting the laneway east of Pape Avenue, south of Riverdale Avenue.
