Summary

That the Sign Variance Committee adopt the recommendations in the report (July 28, 2020) from the City Clerk, with the following amendment:

 

1. Delete Recommendation 1 in the report (July 28, 2020) from the City Clerk, and adopt instead Recommendation 1 in the supplementary report (August 4, 2020) from the City Clerk, to enact By-law 4 in the revised Attachment 1 to the report (August 4, 2020), being a by-law to amend Sign Variance Committee By-law 1.

Summary

At its meeting of July 28 and 29, 2020, City Council adopted Item EX15.21, and in so doing has authorized its local boards to extend or adopt remote electronic meeting rules for a period of one year following the later of the termination of the Provincial emergency or the termination of the municipal emergency related to the issue of COVID-19.

 

Attachment 1 to this supplementary report provides an updated By-law 4 which incorporates this recent authorization.
