Committee Decision
The Property Standards Committee:
1. Enacted the By-law in Attachment 1 to this report (September 1, 2020) from the City Clerk, to amend the Property Standards Committee Rules with respect to electronic participation, with the following amendment to Section E.1.1.:
a. Deleted the word "of" before the words "one year" so that it reads as follows:
"An electronic meeting shall only be held during the period from September 11, 2020 to one year following the later of the termination of the Provincial emergency or the termination of the municipal emergency related to COVID-19 and shall comply with the Building Code Act, 1992 and Statutory Powers Procedure Act, and the electronic meeting requirements adopted by the Committee."
2. Adopted the electronic hearing requirements and operational guidelines in Attachment 2 to this report (September 1, 2020) from the City Clerk.

The purpose of this report is to recommend amendments to the Property Standards Committee Rules to allow for electronic hearings for a period of one year following the termination of the municipal emergency related to the issue of COVID-19.

Motions
That the Property Standards Committee adopt the recommendations in the report (September 1, 2020) from the City Clerk with the following amendment:
1. Amend Section E.1.1 in Attachment 1 to the report by deleting the word "of" before the words "one year" so that it reads as follows:
