Community Council Decision

North York Community Council:

 

1. Rescinded the existing standing prohibition in effect at all times on the east side of Tippett Road, between a point 53 metres south of Wilson Avenue and a point 58.5 metres south of Wilson Avenue.

 

2. Authorized the installation of a temporary on-street accessible parking space on the east side of Tippett Road, between a point 53 metres south of Wilson Avenue and a point 5.5 metres further south, during the COVID-19 crisis.

 

3. Authorized that the standing prohibition on Tippett Road, between a point 53 metres south of Wilson Avenue and a point 5.5 metres further south, be reinstated when COVID -19 emergency measures are no longer in effect.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws.

 

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of a temporary accessible parking space on the east side of Tippett Road.

 

The installation of the proposed accessible parking space will address the needs of a local resident during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
