Origin
Summary
This report requests that City Council deny the request for a permit to remove two City-owned trees located at 18 Raeburn Avenue. The application indicates the reasons for removal are to meet the energy efficiency requirements for the certification of a proposed passive house.
The subject trees are two Colorado blue spruces (Picea pungens), measuring 39 cm and 50 cm in diameter. The Tree By-law does not support the removal of these trees as they are healthy and maintainable.
