City Council Decision

City Council on December 16, 17 and 18, 2020, adopted the following:

 

1.  City Council recognize the historic contributions made by Harvard Professor and Stem Cell Biologist, Derrick Rossi, the founder of Moderna who has played a major role in developing the Moderna Vaccine.

That Councillor Mike Colle be permitted to add to the agenda of today's meeting an urgent Motion without Notice concerning: 

  

Recognizing Stem Cell Biologist Derrick Rossi

 

Reason for Urgency:

 

This Motion is urgent as the vaccines are rolled out in the next month, we would like to encourage Toronto residents to get vaccinated by connecting them to this local scientist and the vaccine, so we can overcome vaccines hesitancy.
