City Council Decision

City Council on December 16, 17 and 18, 2020, adopted the following:

 

1.  City Council direct the City Clerk to request the Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to refrain from issuing a liquor license for Pizza Pizza Restaurant 29 at 1937 Weston Road.

 
2.  City Council request the Licensing Appeal Tribunal to provide the City of Toronto with an opportunity to participate in any proceedings with respect to the Premises.
 

3.  City Council authorize the City Solicitor to attend all proceedings before the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in this matter and direct the City Solicitor to take all necessary actions so as to give effect to this Motion, including, in the event that the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario issues the requested liquor licence, ensuing that conditions are placed on it.
