1. City Council appoint Ron Carinci as Chair of the Create TO Board of Directors, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office effective November 26, 2020 and ending on December 31, 2021 and until a successor is appointed.

That Mayor John Tory be permitted to add to the agenda of today's meeting an urgent Motion without Notice concerning:

Appointment of Chair - CreateTO Board of Directors

Reason for Urgency:

This Motion is urgent as City Council should appoint a new Chair of the CreateTO Board as soon as possible to ensure the orderly succession of the new Chief Executive Officer, the process for which has been initiated by the Board.
