City Council on June 29 and 30, 2020, adopted the following:

 

1. City Council request the Executive Director, Social Development, Finance and Administration to examine how the Advance Peace program can support existing efforts aimed at violence prevention and intervention and to report back to the September 30 and October 1, 2020 meeting of City Council.

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that the provisions of Chapter 27, Council Procedures, require that Motion MM22.36 be referred to the Economic and Community Development Committee. A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to waive referral.

That City Council amend Recommendation 1, by deleting the dates "July 28 and 29, 2020" and inserting the dates "September 30 and October 1, 2020":
