Committee Decision

The Infrastructure and Environmental Committee:

1. In accordance with Section 195-8.4A of the Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 195 (Purchasing By-Law), granted authority to award Contract No. 20ECS-TI-13LR, Tender Ariba Doc #2155284733, for local road resurfacing in Wards 4 through 6, 8, 9, and 12, in the amount of $28,136,230 net of all taxes ($28,631,430 net of HST recoveries) to D. Crupi & Sons Limited, having submitted the lowest compliant bid and meeting the specifications in conformance with the Tender requirements.

2. In accordance with Section 195-8.4A of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 195 (Purchasing By-Law), granted authority to award Contract No. 20ECS-TI-14LR, Tender Ariba Doc #2155392775, for local road resurfacing in Wards 10, 11, 13 through 16, and 19 through 22, in the amount of $32,902,199 net of all taxes ($33,481,279 net of HST recoveries) to Sanscon Construction Ltd., having submitted the lowest compliant bid and meeting the specifications in conformance with the Tender requirements.

Summary

The purpose of this report is to: (1) advise of the results of Tender Ariba Doc #2155284733, Contract No. 20ECS-TI-13LR, for local road resurfacing in Wards 4 through 6, 8, 9, and 12, and request authority to award the contract to D. Crupi & Sons Limited, in the amount of $28,136,230 net of all applicable taxes and charges ($28,631,430 net of HST recoveries); and, (2) advise of the results of Tender Ariba Doc #2155392775, Contract No. 20ECS-TI-14LR, for local road resurfacing in Wards 10, 11, 13 through 16, and 19 through 22, and request authority to award the contract to Sanscon Construction Ltd., in the amount of $32,902,199 net of applicable taxes and charges ($33,481,279 net of HST recoveries).
