Origin

Summary

I received a letter from a number of my constituents who are concerned about the noise generated by snow clearing activity on commercial properties located adjacent to residential areas during nighttime hours. These constituents would like the City to amend its by-laws to restrict snow clearing or any other winter maintenance activity involving mechanical equipment, between the hours of 12am to 6am, on commercial properties that are located 100m or less from residential areas.
