The General Government and Licensing Committee:

1.  In accordance with Section 195-8.4A of the Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 195 (Purchasing By-Law), granted authority to award Request for Quotation Call Number 1202-19-0133, for the non-exclusive supply and delivery of Electrical Supplies and Components for the City of Toronto's various Divisions at various locations as and when required from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, with an option to renew for four (4) additional separate one (1) year periods to be renewed at the discretion of the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management, for a total amount of $23,395,105.34 net of all applicable taxes and charges ($23,806,860) net of Harmonized Sales Tax recoveries) to Powertrade Electric Ltd., having submitted the lowest compliant bid meeting all specifications in the Request for Quotation.

The purpose of this report is to advise of the results of Request for Quotation Number 1202-19-0133, for the non-exclusive supply and delivery of Electrical Supplies and Components for the City of Toronto's various Divisions at various locations as and when required; and, to seek authority to award a contract to Powertrade Electric Ltd., in the total amount of $23,395,105.34 net of all applicable taxes and charges ($23,806,860 net of Harmonized Sales Tax recoveries) for a period of one (1) year commencing from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 with the option to renew the Contract for four (4) additional separate one (1) year periods.
