City Council Decision
City Council on May 28, 2020, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the Deputy City Manager, Community and Social Services to enter into and administer a funding agreement with the Department of Canadian Heritage to accept $547,000 for the production of virtual Canada Day celebrations.
2. City Council increase the Approved 2020 Operating Budget for Economic Development and Culture by $647,000 gross and $0 net, fully funded by a grant of $547,000 from the Department of Canadian Heritage and $100,000 in private sponsorship, to deliver the virtual Canada Day event.
