The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of South Drive, between Sherbourne Street North and Crescent Road (west intersection).

2. Prohibited parking from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of South Drive, between Park Road and Mount Pleasant Road.

3. Prohibited parking at all times on the south side of South Drive, between Mount Pleasant Road and a point 28.5 metres east.

4. Authorized maximum 15-minute parking from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of South Drive, between a point 28.5 metres east of Mount Pleasant Road and a point 10 metres further east.

5. Prohibited parking from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the south side of South Drive, between a point 28.5 metres east of Mount Pleasant Road and a point 10 metres further east.

6. Prohibited parking from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the south side of South Drive, between a point 38.5 metres east of Mount Pleasant Road and Sherbourne Street North.

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.

Transportation Services is recommending designation of a student pick-up/drop-off area on the south side of South Drive, approximately 28.5 metres east of Mt. Pleasant Road, for Kids and Company located at 129 Mount Pleasant Road.  The pick-up/drop-off area will provide parking for up to 15 minutes during school arrival and dismissal times.  This will have a negligible impact on traffic operations.
