Origin
Summary
In July 2018, traffic control signals were approved for the intersections of College Street, at Gladstone Avenue and College Street, at Havelock Street and Rusholme Park Crescent. When these traffic control signals were approved, parking was also removed to a point of 30.5 metres on the approaches of these intersections.
Area residents have since voiced concerns over the loss of parking. The purpose of this motion therefore is to reduce the previously approved parking reductions 30.5 metres to 15 metres on most approaches in order to maximize on-street parking.
