Community Council Decision

1. Authorized all-way compulsory stop control at the intersection of Glenholme Avenue and Millerson Avenue.
2. Authorized the removal of the northbound stop control at the intersection of Glenholme Avenue and Earnscliffe Road.
Summary
I recently met at Rawlinson Community School with teachers and parents regarding ongoing traffic and pedestrian safety concerns, particularly during school drop-off and pick-up times. Representatives from the Toronto District School Board, Parent Council and City's Traffic Operations Division were also present.
A series of safety improvement measures were discussed, one of which was the installation of an all-way stop control at the intersection of Glenholme Avenue and Millerson Avenue. The impact of installing this all-way stop control will be immediate and will require motorists to stop at the intersection. In addition, this all-way stop control will provide a safer east-west crossing point for pedestrians.
