Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Rescinded the existing parking machine regulation in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, for a maximum period of three hours at a rate of $3.00 per hour, on the south side of Britain Street, from George Street to a point 20.5 metres east, and from a point 31.5 metres east of George Street to a point 18.5 metres further east.
2. Rescinded the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., on the south (odd) side of Britain Street, from George Street to a point 20.5 metres east, and from a point 31.5 metres east of George Street to a point 18.5 metres further east.
3. Prohibited stopping at all times on the south side of Britain Street, between a point 31.5 metres east of George Street and a point 18.5 metres further east.
4. Prohibited parking at all times on the south side of Britain Street, between George Street and a point 20.5 metres east.

Transportation Services is requesting approval to prohibit stopping at all times on the south side of Britain Street, in front of the driveway access to the parking lot of 230 Richmond Street East, in order to provide more space for waste hauler trucks to turn safely into the property, and to prohibit parking at all times on the south side of Britain Street, from George Street to the driveway access to the parking lot of 151 George Street.
