The Toronto and East York Community Council directed:

1. Transportation Services to bring forward a report and accompanying by-laws implementing pay-and-display parking on Villiers Street between Don Roadway and Cherry Street.

Summary

Villiers Street, in the Portlands, is an important site for jobs and employment in the East End. However due to a lack of parking regulations there is an issue with long-term parking and storage of vehicles. Implementing pay-and-display on Villiers will ensure that businesses have spots and cut down on long-term parking.
