Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1.  Prohibited standing at all times on the west side of Hendrick Avenue, between St. Clair Avenue West and the first lane south.

 

2.  Prohibited parking at all times on the east side of Hendrick Avenue, between St. Clair Avenue West and the first lane south.

 

3.  Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times, except each Thursday, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive, on the west side of Hendrick Avenue, between St. Clair Avenue West and the first lane south.

 

4.  Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect on each Thursday, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive, on the east side of Hendrick Avenue, between St. Clair Avenue West and the first lane south.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.

 

Transportation Services is requesting approval to prohibit standing at all times on the west side and prohibit parking at all times on the east side of Hendrick Avenue, south of St. Clair Avenue West.  This is in response to concerns received from the condominium board of 835 St. Clair Avenue West about vehicles parking illegally on west side of Hendrick Avenue which adding difficulty to vehicle entrance or egress manoeuvres.
