Origin

(April 2, 2019) Report from the Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.

Transportation Services is requesting approval to increase the current parking prohibition on the south side of Heath Street West from a point 21.6 metres east of Deer Park Crescent to a point 34.7 metres further east. This is in response to multiple instances where a parked vehicle would partially block the driveway access for residents between 67 and 71 Heath Street West. This proposal will improve driveway access for residents in the area and will result in the loss of one parking space.
