City Council Decision
City Council on February 26, 2019, adopted the following:
1. City Council prohibit stopping at all times on the east side of Carlaw Avenue, between a point 85.7 metres north of Queen Street East and a point 21 metres further north.
2. City Council amend the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the east side of Carlaw Avenue, between Queen Street East and a point 106.7 metres north to be in effect between Queen Street East and a point 85.7 metres north.
3. City Council rescind the existing maximum two hour parking limit in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Carlaw Avenue, between Queen Street East and a point 93 metres south of Dundas Street East.

Summary
As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Carlaw Avenue, City Council approval of this report is required.
Transportation Services is requesting approval to prohibit stopping at all times on a section of Carlaw Avenue in the vicinity of the driveway that services No. 201 Carlaw Avenue. The proposed stopping prohibition is recommended in order to improve sight lines and address safety concerns expressed by residents exiting the driveway of the above-mentioned property.
