The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1. Authorized the installation of all-way stop control at the intersection of Indian Grove and Ridout Street.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws.

 

Transportation Services staff have reviewed the need for all-way stop control at the intersection of Indian Grove and Ridout Street to address residents' concerns regarding safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists using this intersection. The installation of all-way stop control at this intersection is recommended as the warrant criteria are extremely close to being achieved and all-way stop will improve safety for all road users.
