City Council Decision

City Council on January 30 and 31, 2019, adopted the following:

 

1.  City Council rescind the existing eastbound left-turn prohibition in effect at all times at the intersection of Bathurst Street and the private driveway from the parking lot located on the west side of Bathurst Street, opposite of Nassau Street.

 

2.  City Council prohibit northbound left-turns from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the intersection of Bathurst Street and the private driveway at 410 Bathurst Street located on the west side of Bathurst Street, opposite Nassau Street.

Community Council Recommendations

The Toronto and East York Community Council recommends that:

Summary

As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Bathurst Street, City Council approval of this report is required.

 

Transportation Services is requesting approval to amend the current traffic regulations on Bathurst Street and Nassau Street, as it relates to the development at 410 Bathurst Street.  Riotrin Properties (Bathurst) Inc. is building a 4-storey commercial building that will be constructed at 410 Bathurst Street.  The site is located on the west side of Bathurst Street, opposite of Nassau Street.  The proposed traffic amendments will address requirements of the site plan agreement, particularly with regards to safe and efficient operation of traffic at this intersection.
