City Council Decision
City Council on January 30 and 31, 2019, adopted the following:
1. City Council prohibit southbound left-turns from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, at Front Street West and the driveway at 578 Front Street West, located on the north side of Front Street West, east of Bathurst Street.
2. City Council prohibit southbound and westbound left-turns at all times on Bathurst Street at the driveway at 578 Front Street West, located on the east side of Bathurst Street, north of Front Street West.

Community Council Recommendations
The Toronto and East York Community Council recommends that:
1. City Council prohibit southbound left-turns from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, at Front Street West and the driveway at 578 Front Street West, located on the north side of Front Street West, east of Bathurst Street.
2. City Council prohibit southbound and westbound left-turns at all times on Bathurst Street at the driveway at 578 Front Street West, located on the east side of Bathurst Street, north of Front Street West.

Summary
As the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) operates a transit service on Front Street West and Bathurst Street, City Council approval of this report is required.
Transportation Services is requesting approval to implement turn prohibitions on Front Street West and Bathurst Street in conjunction with a development located at 578 Front Street West. The proposed turn prohibitions are conditions of this mixed-use development, located on the north side of Front Street West, east of Bathurst Street. This development will require the inclusion of a site driveway on Front Street West and Bathurst Street, which is scheduled to open in April 2019. These turn prohibitions are required to maintain a safe and efficient traffic operation and the developer will be responsible for all costs.
