City Council Decision
City Council on January 30 and 31, 2019, adopted the following:
1. City Council amend the existing right-turn prohibition in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, for southbound traffic on Oakwood Avenue at Glenhurst Avenue, to exclude bicycles.
2. City Council amend the existing left-turn prohibition in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, for southbound traffic on Oakwood Avenue at Glenhurst Avenue, to exclude bicycles.

Community Council Recommendations
The Toronto and East York Community Council recommends that:
1. City Council amend the existing right turn prohibition in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, for southbound traffic on Oakwood Avenue at Glenhurst Avenue, to exclude bicycles.
2. City Council amend the existing left turn prohibition in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Monday to Friday, for southbound traffic on Oakwood Avenue at Glenhurst Avenue, to exclude bicycles.

Summary
The purpose of this report is to amend the existing southbound "No Right Turn, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday" regulation for southbound traffic and the existing southbound "No Left Turn, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Monday to Friday" for southbound traffic on Oakwood Avenue at Glenhurst Avenue, to exclude bicycles.
As Oakwood Avenue is a transit route, this matter requires the approval of City Council. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) have been advised of the issue and have not objected to the recommendations.
