The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Rescinded the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:00 midnight to 11:59 p.m. daily on the odd (east) side of Cooper Street, between Lake Shore Boulevard East and Queens Quay East. 

2. Prohibited stopping at all times on the east side of Cooper Street, between Lake Shore Boulevard East and Queens Quay East.

3. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the west side of Freeland Street, between a point 38 metres north of Queens Quay East and a point 38 metres further north.

4. Prohibited parking except by permit from 12:00 midnight of one day to 12:00 midnight of the following day, daily, on the even (west) side of Freeland Street, between a point 38 metres north of Queens Quay East and a point 38 metres further north. 

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City Policy or by-laws.

As part of on-going construction on Cooper Street, between Queens Quay East and Lake Shore Boulevard East, Transportation Services is requesting approval to prohibit stopping on the east side of Cooper Street, between Queens Quay East and Lake Shore Boulevard East, and implement additional permit parking spaces on the west side of Freeland Street, between Queens Quay East and Lake Shore Boulevard East for displaced permit holders.
