Summary

Paul Lane Gardens is an east/west street located between Augusta Avenue and Cameron Street in the newly revitalized Toronto Community Housing Units in Alexandra Park. The north side of this small street is designated Pay & Display street parking, while the south side of the street is designated "No Parking".

On busy days, both sides of the street become lined with cars parked either at the Pay & Display or Accessible Parking Permit holders parking on the south side under the "No Parking" designation. This reduced the long stretch of road to a single lane of traffic for both east and west bound traffic, causing unsafe conditions for drivers and a bottleneck of traffic in the neighbourhood.

Transportation Services staff have advised that to mitigate the issue, the current "No Parking" designation be rescinded and stopping on Paul Lane Gardens is to be prohibited.
