Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waived the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Milverton Boulevard, between Greenwood Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent.
2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway on Milverton Boulevard, between Greenwood Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on Drawing No. 421G-3601, Attachment 1 to the report (November 15, 2019) from the Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.

Transportation Services staff have reviewed the need for traffic calming, specifically the installation of speed humps on Milverton Boulevard, between Greenwood Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent, to address residents' concerns regarding vehicle speeds. Our assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has not been satisfied. Therefore, traffic calming should not be installed on the subject section of Milverton Boulevard.

Motions
That the Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Waive the polling requirement under the City's Traffic Calming Policy and authorize the installation of traffic calming (speed humps) on Milverton Boulevard, between Greenwood Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent.
2. Direct the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway on Milverton Boulevard, between Greenwood Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent, for traffic calming purposes, generally as shown on the copy of Drawing No. 421G-3601, dated October 2019, attached to the Traffic Calming ( Speed Humps) – Milverton report from the Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services.
