Scarborough Community Council:

 

1. Prohibited stopping at all times on both sides of Redlea Avenue, between Steeles Avenue East and the end of Redlea Avenue.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter for which the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is requesting approval to prohibit stopping on the east side of Redlea Avenue, between Steeles Avenue East and a point 146 metres south.

 

This stopping prohibition is required to prevent large tour buses from blocking northbound traffic while parking and loading/unloading at this location.

Scarborough Community Council amend Recommendation 1 so that it now reads as follows:

 

1. Scarborough Community Council prohibit stopping at all times on the east side both sides of Redlea Avenue, between Steeles Avenue East and a point 146 metres south the end of the street.
