2. Prohibited stopping at all times on the south/west side of Bamburgh Circle (east leg), between Warden Avenue (north intersection) and Wintermute Boulevard.

Origin

(May 27, 2019) Report from the Acting Director, Traffic Management, Transportation Services

Summary

This staff report is about a matter for which the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is requesting approval to replace the existing parking regulations at all times on the south/west side of Bamburgh Circle (east leg), between Warden Avenue (north intersection) and Wintermute Boulevard, with no stopping any time.

This stopping prohibition is recommended to prevent large tour buses from parking and loading/unloading at this location as the stopped buses are blocking the eastbound lanes and forcing other traffic to divert into opposing traffic.
