Community Council Decision
Scarborough Community Council:
1. Rescinded the existing stopping prohibition in effect at all times on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard, between a point 20 metres south of Bamburgh Circle and a point 5 metres further south.
2. Rescinded the existing stopping prohibition in effect at all times on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard, between a point 101 metres south of Bamburgh Circle and a point 86 metres further south.
3. Rescinded the existing standing prohibition in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, from September 1 to June 30, inclusive, except public holidays, on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard, between a point 25 metres south of Bamburgh Circle and a point 76 metres further south.
4. Rescinded the existing school bus loading zone in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard between a point 101 metres southeast of Bamburgh Circle and a point 86 metres further south.
5. Authorized parking for a maximum period of 10 minutes from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard, between a point 20 metres south of Bamburgh Circle and a point 164 metres further south.

Summary
This staff report is about a matter for which the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
This report recommends parking regulation changes to reduce traffic congestion on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard in the area of Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute and David Lewis Public School. The changes include the installation of 10 minute short-term parking to replace the existing school bus loading zone on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard.
Currently, there are stopping prohibitions on the west side and default three-hour parking along with School Bus Loading Zone on the east side of Fundy Bay Boulevard.
