1. City Council not authorize the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Walbon Road.

 

2. City Council not authorize the installation of a pedestrian crossover at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Walbon Road.

Community Council Recommendations

The Scarborough Community Council recommends that:

 

1. City Council not authorize the installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Walbon Road.

 

2. City Council not authorize the installation of a pedestrian crossover at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Walbon Road.

Summary

This report recommends that neither traffic control signals nor a pedestrian crossover be approved at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Walbon Road. The assessment concludes that based on current peak vehicular and pedestrian volume and delays and conflicts at this location, neither traffic control signals nor a pedestrian crossover is warranted at this time.
