Community Council Decision

The Scarborough Community Council:

 

1. Prohibited standing at all times on the west and north sides of Whitley Castle Crescent, from a point 118 metres north of Silbury Drive to point 8.5 metres further north.

 

2. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. from November 1st to April 30th, on the west and north sides of Whitley Castle Crescent, from Silbury Drive to Bethany Leigh Drive, to be in effect from Silbury Drive to a point 118 metres north, and from a point 126.5 metres north of Silbury Drive to Bethany Leigh Drive.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter for which the Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is requesting approval to amend the existing parking prohibition in effect at certain times on the west and north sides of Whitley Castle Crescent, to prohibit standing at all times at the multi-use trail.

 

This standing prohibition is required to allow City service vehicles and Emergency Services vehicles access to the multi-use trail leading up to Richmond Park and to Percy Williams Junior Public School located to the north-west.
