a - Review Order Paper

December 17, 2019 at 10:20 a.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:

Members, I will now review the Order Paper.

The Mayor has designated Item 11.1, headed "Value-Based Outcomes Review: Findings" and Item PH11.5, headed "HousingTO 2020-2030 Action Plan" as his Key Matters for this meeting. These will be the first items of business today.

I propose that Council consider Item EX11.26 on the City Building Fund with the Mayor's first Key Matter, EX11.1.  These Items were considered together at the Executive Committee.

Mayor Tory, do you consent to the joining of the items?

The Notice of Motion run through is scheduled for 2 p.m. tomorrow only if the Mayor's Key Matters are completed.

I propose that City Council set a time for a closed session, if required, later in the meeting.

Members, there are a number of related items on the agenda that I propose be considered together:

TE11.5 on 1141 Bloor Street West, 980 Dufferin Street, and 90 Croatia Street - Official Plan Amendment and Zoning Amendment Application - Request for Directions Report

With

TE11.6  on Intention to Designate under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, Inclusion on the Heritage Register, Alterations to a Heritage Property and Authority to Enter into a Heritage Easement Agreement - 90 Croatia Street and 980 Dufferin Street

And

TE11.9 on Alterations to Heritage Properties, Authority to Enter into a Heritage Easement Agreement and Designation Under Part IV, Section 29, of the Ontario Heritage Act - 301 (303), 305 (309, 311), 315 and 319 King Street West

With

CC13.8 on 301 to 319 King Street West - Zoning By-law Amendment Application - Request for Directions Regarding Local Planning Appeal Tribunal Hearing.

The City Clerk has noted the Items that Members wish to hold.

I will now go through the Items listed on the Order Paper to take additional holds.  I will recognize requests to make matters urgent and time specific after I go through the Items for additional holds.

Once the Order Paper has been approved by Council, any change will need a two-thirds vote.
