The Board of Directors of CreateTO:

1.  Received the report (November 8, 2019) from the Chief Executive Officer, CreateTO for information.

The Chief Executive Officer and the Manager, Strategic Planning, CreateTO gave a presentation on Update on Strategic Plan for CreateTO.

CreateTO was launched on January 1, 2018 to manage the City’s real estate portfolio, develop City buildings and lands for municipal purposes and provide real estate solutions to City divisions, agencies and corporations. 

As CreateTO approaches its second anniversary, CreateTO staff are in the process of preparing the agency's inaugural Multi-Year Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan will establish CreateTO's overall strategic direction and communicate who we are, what we value, our key priorities and the actions we will take to deliver on our mandate over the coming years.

The Chief Executive Officer will provide a status update on the emerging directions for this plan, including the following:

- Vision, Mission and Values;

- Strategic Priorities, which drive results for our stakeholders; and

- Organization Priorities, which enable our performance.

In early 2020, staff will bring forward the Multi-Year Strategic Plan for Board consideration that builds on these directions and provides more information on our priorities, resources, benchmarks and how we will track our progress as an agency.
