The Board of Directors of Toronto Parking Authority:

1.  Authorized the President, Toronto Parking Authority, to award the construction contract for the electrical lighting upgrades at Municipal Car Parks 11 (21 Pleasant Boulevard) and 286 (51 Dockside Drive) to Rumble Electric Co. Ltd., having submitted the lowest bid and meeting all specifications in conformance with the construction tender requirements, in the amount of $952,675 plus $22,325 as a contingency allowance, being the sum total amount of $975,000 net of all taxes and charges.

A tender package, including all technical requirements, materials, and labour for the electrical lighting upgrades, was prepared by SNC Lavalin Inc., as previously approved by Purchase Order Number 37954 which was issued in September 2018.

SNC Lavalin Inc. tendered the work on behalf of Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) to eight pre-qualified electrical contractors on August 12, 2019. A mandatory pre-tender meeting was held on August 14, 2019 with four out of the eight pre-qualified contractors. The call closed on August 28, 2019 and two bids were received and considered, as listed below in ascending order.
