Board Decision

The Board of Directors of the Toronto Parking Authority:

1. Appointed Robin Oliphant, Acting President, Toronto Parking Authority, or her designate to the Canadian National Exhibition Association membership, in accordance with the provisions of the Canadian National Exhibition Association's legislation, for a term of office starting June 5, 2019 and ending June 1, 2020, and until a successor is appointed.

Summary

The Canadian National Exhibition Association's (CNEA) legislation provides that the Municipal Section of the CNEA Board shall include one representative named and appointed annually by the Toronto Parking Authority (TPA). The TPA representative is nominated by the TPA Board annually for a term of one year. Historically, the new term of the CNEA would commence in the fall of each calendar year, but recently the term has been changed to the spring of each year. The CNEA has requested that the TPA’s representative attend their Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. See Appendix A - Notice of Appointment.
