The Board of Directors of the Toronto Parking Authority:

1.  Reviewed, approved, and directed Toronto Parking Authority staff to enact the following:

a.  Toronto Parking Authority Policy Resolution 4-19: Occupational Health and Safety Policy, outlined in Appendix A to the report (February 14, 2019) from the Acting President, Toronto Parking Authority; and

b.  Toronto Parking Authority Policy Resolution 4-22: Workplace Harassment and Violence Policy, outlined in Appendix B to the report (February 14, 2019) from the Acting President, Toronto Parking Authority.

The Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) has established a range of Board-enacted policies which form the guiding principles and procedures by which it operates. The Occupational Health and Safety Act requires that two policies relating to the Act be reviewed on an annual basis. These policies were most recently reviewed and affirmed by the Board at its meeting of August 24, 2018. This report confirms that the TPA's Joint Health and Safety Committee conducted its annual review, as per requirements of the Act, and concurred in the policies at its January 30, 2019 meeting, with no recommended changes to the two specific TPA policies, namely:

- TPA Policy Resolution 4-19: Occupational Health and Safety Policy; and

 
- TPA Policy Resolution 4-22: Workplace Harassment and Violence Policy.
