Summary

This staff report is about a matter for which Community Council has delegated authority to make a final decision, provided that it is not amended so that it varies with City policy or by-laws.

Transportation Services is recommending North York Community Council replace the parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Orchard View Boulevard, between Edith Avenue and Duplex Avenue, with a stopping prohibition in effect at all times.

The proposed stopping prohibition will address residents' concerns with accessible parking permit holders parking on the entire length of the street and obstructing two-way traffic, including emergency services vehicles
