City Council Decision
City Council on January 30 and 31, 2019, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation to accept the in-kind donation of up to $100,000.00 US in playground and related equipment from KaBOOM!, Inc. for the Glamorgan Park playground in compliance with the Policy on Donations to the City of Toronto for Community Benefits.
2. City Council authorize the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation to enter into an agreement with KaBOOM!, Inc. to accept and install the playground equipment at Glamorgan Park on terms and conditions satisfactory to the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation, and in a form satisfactory to the City Solicitor.

Reason for Urgency:
This Motion is urgent as the donor has a deadline to secure funding prior to the next City Council meeting and ensure sufficient time for the playground equipment to be fabricated prior to installation.
