City Council Decision
City Council on January 30 and 31, 2019, adopted the following:
1. City Council reaffirm the City's interest in the protection and preservation of the Hearn Generating Station at 440 Unwin Avenue, Toronto.
2. City Council direct the Senior Manager, Heritage Preservation Services to report on the evaluation of the property at 440 Unwin Avenue (the Hearn Generating Station) under Ontario Regulation 9/06, the criteria prescribed for municipal designation under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, to the February 27, 2019 meeting of the Toronto Preservation Board and the March 27 and 28, 2019 meeting of City Council.
