City Council Decision
City Council on December 17 and 18, 2019, adopted the following:
1. City Council request the Chief Planner and Executive Director, City Planning and the General Manager, Transportation Services, in consultation with the Toronto Transit Commission, to report back on the impact all these new development pressures will have on Toronto Transit Commission subway capacity at Eglinton Station, pedestrian safety issues, road capacity and traffic congestion impacts resulting from the higher levels of density and intensification directed by new Provincial Planning Legislation and Policies like Bill 108 and the rejection of most of the City's Midtown in Focus Plan.
