City Council Decision

City Council on November 26 and 27, 2019, adopted the following:

 

1. City Council delete Part 2 of City Council's decision on Item SC7.22 and replace it with the following new Part 2:

 
2. City Council prohibit eastbound left turns from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, at East Avenue and the private access located 60 metres north of Golders Green Avenue.

That Councillor Jennifer McKelvie be permitted to add to the agenda of today's meeting an urgent Motion without Notice concerning: 

 

Re-opening and Amendment - Item SC7.22 - Turn Prohibitions - East Avenue (Ward 25) 

  

Reason for Urgency:

 

This Motion is urgent as it corrects an error in signage. To make the adjustment Transportation Services needs this motion passed. 


Motion to Re-open Item (Carried)

Speaker Nunziata advised Council that consideration of Motion MM12.31 requires a re-opening of Item SC7.22 (City Council – July 16, 17 and 18, 2019). A two-thirds vote of the Council Members present is required to re-open the Item.
