In accordance with Section 195-8.4A of the Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 195 (Purchasing By-Law), granted authority to award Contract Number 19ECS-TI-07BE, Tender Call Number 54-2019, for the Rehabilitation of Don Mills Road Bridge over Don Valley Parkway, Spanbridge Road Bridge over Don Valley Parkway, Wynford Drive Bridge over Don Valley Parkway and Lawrence Avenue Bridge over Don Valley Parkway, in the amount of $26,520,000 net of all taxes ($26,986,752 net of HST recoveries) to Grascan Construction Ltd. / Torbridge Construction Ltd., having submitted the lowest/sole compliant bid and meeting the specifications in conformance with the Tender requirements.

Summary

The purpose of this report is to advise of the results of Tender Call Number 54-2019, Contract Number 19ECS-TI-07BE, for the rehabilitation of four (4) bridges over the Don Valley Parkway, namely, the Don Mills Road Bridge, Spanbridge Road Bridge, Wynford Drive Bridge and Lawrence Avenue Bridge and request authority to award the contract to Grascan Construction Ltd./Torbridge Construction Ltd., in the amount of $26,520,000 net of all applicable taxes and charges ($26,986,752 net of HST recoveries).
