The Toronto Urban Health Fund Review Panel:

 

1.   Strongly encouraged the following organizations to appeal:


-  2-Spirited People of the First Nation - Inawendiwag (they are related): Restoring kinship is harm reduction and HIV prevention

-  Flemingdon Health Centre - Community Consultation- Roma Youth Residents of Flemingdon and Thorncliffe Park

-  Scadding Court Community Centre - HeARTwork

 

2.   Requested Toronto Public Health staff to provide the feedback discussed on each application to various applicants.

 

3.  Confirmed instructions to staff in closed session.

 

On April 5, 2019, the Consultant, Health Promotion, Toronto Public Health gave a presentation on 2019 Toronto Urban Health Fund Review Panel Review Meeting.

 

The Toronto Urban Health Fund Review Panel recessed it's public session and met in closed session on several occasions during it's meeting on April 5, 10 and 15, 2019 to consider confidential information on this item as it is a matter involving the security of property belonging to the Board of Health.

 

The Toronto Urban Health Fund Review Panel did not recommend the following applications for funding and instructed Toronto Public Health Staff to advise applicants of the appeal process:
